Founded and based in the State of California, the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) is a private, non-profit, international research university with recognized charitable status entrusted with the following core mission of public-interest: To develop biomedical innovations, biomedical researchers, and clinicians that serve to help advance the scientific understanding, prevention, and treatment of modern human diseases.
To progressively advance its Mission & realize its Vision, the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) is actively engaged in progressively planning, developing & administering innovative & world-class:
Biomedical research programs that aim to discover & develop biomedical knowledge, interventions, and technologies that advance the etiological understanding and treatment of modern human aging-associated diseases.
Biomedical research education programs that aim to enhance the biomedical research knowledge, skills, abilities, and credentials of its enrolled students.
Medical education & training that produce competent primary care clinicians for areas or populations that are designated as medically underserved by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services.

The Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) is a Private, Non-Profit, American Institution of Medical Research & Higher Education founded in 2016, and legally established under the laws of the State of California in 2017 to operate under the oversight of the University Board of Governors.
Per Section 94874 of the California Code of Education, the schools of the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) afford the authority to operate as exempt from the approval of the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). To compliment this authority, the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) exercises progressive compliance with contemporary best practices in higher education program development and delivery.
To support broader opportunities for its future alumni & public trust in its schools, the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) is exercising compliance with organizational standards required for institutional & program-level accreditation by several accrediting agencies recognized by the United States Department of Education & by the California Department of Public Health. The Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) proceeds into its first phase of legal operation in the State of California, on track to receive relevant accreditations by one or more of these agencies by the end of year 2021.
