The Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) is a Private, Non-Profit, American Institution of Medical Research & Higher Education founded in 2016, and formally established under the laws of the State of California in 2017 as an institution powered by a charitable mission to advance human health through the discovery & teaching of biomedical knowledge. The Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) operates under the oversight of an University Board of Governors within the State of California, consistent with Federal and State-level regulations that are relevant to its operations.
Per Section 94874 of the California Code of Education, the schools of the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) afford the authority to operate as exempt from the approval of the California Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE). To compliment this authority, the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) exercises progressive compliance with contemporary best practices in medical research & higher-education program development and administration.

To support broader opportunities for its future alumni & public trust in its schools, the Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) is exercising compliance with organizational standards required for institutional & program-level accreditation by several accrediting agencies recognized by the United States Department of Education & by the California Department of Public Health. The Pacific Health Sciences University (PHSU) proceeds into its first 5-year phase of legal operation in the State of California, on track to receive relevant accreditations by one or more of these agencies by the end of year 2021.
